Refugee Family Breakfast Pack

This project aims to provide two essential items families have for breakfast: High-Quality Zeit (Olive Oil) and Zaatar (thyme) for refugee families.

Jordan is one of the poorest countries in the Arab world, where the percentage of the poor and vulnerable to poverty reached 40% of the population. With the increase of refugees’ numbers due to the four regional wars in just 70 years and a lack of water and other resources, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its people face many challenges.

Millions of refugees from different conflicts currently live in Jordan. The country has more than two million Palestinian refugees and over 650,000 registered Syrian refugees.

Due to the pandemic, the economic situation has worsened, increasing the number of those needing support.

This project aims to provide two essential items families have for breakfast: High-Quality Zeit (Olive Oil) and Zaatar (thyme) for refugee families.
