Our Story: The Birth of Zadcom
Zadcom was born from compassion and necessity. In 2012, our founder, alongside local religious leaders, witnessed firsthand the extreme poverty and suffering in the refugee camps of Zarqa, Jordan. They were moved to act after a heart-wrenching encounter where they could not provide enough food and resources to all those in need. However, a miraculous turn of events sparked the beginning of something far greater.
One evening, after distributing what little they had to the refugees, they prayed for a way to help more people. Soon after, a stranger handed them a packet of money—an answer to their prayers. With renewed hope, they returned to the camp to continue distributing aid, and from that day forward, they vowed to create a more structured and sustainable way to support Jordan’s most vulnerable.
This was the birth of Zadcom Relief and Development—a mission to provide comprehensive care to refugees, orphans, and underprivileged communities in Jordan.
Our Mission
Zadcom’s mission is to provide holistic, long-term support to the most vulnerable in Jordan—refugees, orphans, and impoverished local communities. We deliver essential services such as food, shelter, healthcare, and education, but we believe that lasting change comes from empowerment. By equipping individuals and communities with the tools they need to become self-reliant, we aim to foster resilience and independence.
