Support Orphans in Jordan
Jordan is situated in a region where neighbouring countries have been experiencing conflicts and wars. As a result, more than 2 million registered Palestine refugees live in Jordan. The Palestine refugee population in Jordan is the largest in the world, with approximately 370 ,000 Palestine refugees living in ten camps. Unfortunately, one of the most vulnerable groups within this population are orphans and youth which account for 40% of Palestinian Refugee population. These problems have only been amplified by the COVID 19 pandemic across the globe.
Ensuring children’s optimal growth and development is a fundamental human right and an essential priority. This is especially important for refugee children who are disproportionately affected by malnutrition and are less likely to have access to appropriate healthcare, nutrition and social services.
Your donation to Orphan Aid will ensure that these children receive:
- Essential healthcare
- Proper nutrition
- Access to education
- Clothing and shelter
